Part 2 City of London

Gustav Milne of University College, London and author of several books on the archaeology of London, led a walk around the City of London in conjunction with architect Terry Brown of architects GMW Architects.

Gustav used his great knowledge of the ports of London, the Great Fire of London and the layout of the streets of London to great effect. Terry has been involved with the design of a large number of City Buildings and he was able to show us how the City develops. 6.30pm - Tuesday 20th June.

Part 3 Smithfield & Clerkenwell

Museum of London Archaeologist, Gordon Malcolm leads a walk around Smithfield and Clerkenwell in collaboration with architect Andrew Waugh, director of Waugh Thistleton Architects.

Gordon seemed to have been involved in an excavation under every other building in the area! Andrew, who has worked on a number of projects in the City fringes, balanced the detailed look at the past with ideas about development in these 'new' old parts of the City. 6.30pm Wednesday 21st June.
