Part 1 Bankside, Historic SouthwarkMuseum of London archaeologist, Julian Bowsher and Bankside Architect, Ken Greig of Greig - Stephenson, led a walk around the streets of Bankside, Southwark. Julian provided a fascinating insight into Bankside providing information about the embankment of the area, the excavations of the Theatres, and Baiting Pits. Ken gave an insight into the more recent development of the area and on his work as architect of Borough Market. 6.30pm Monday 19th June 2006 |
