    We have managed the Old Operating Theatre Museum since 1988 winning the Gulbenkian award for the Best Museum on a limited Budget in 1994, and the Museum and Heritage Award for Excelence for the Best Project run on a limited Budget in 2007. Visitor numbers when we started were 5,000, they are now in excess of 30,000

     

  • Brunel Engine House - CHR managed the Museum from 1998 - 2001
  • Museum of Garden History - Kevin Flude was part-time Curator 1997 - 2000
  • Rotherhithe Heritage Museum - Consultant for the setting up and display of this Museum.

    • Cultural Heritage Event Organisation

      Since 1992 we have organised a series of Cultural Study Tours, based in London, for the Elderhostel Organisation. This involves acting as Course Director and providing lecturers. The courses are on archaeology, history, literary history and art history.

      We organise walks for groups and for special events. The latest were a series of walks for the London Architectural Biennale.

    • Web Site Management and Design

      With Cultural Heritage Information Consultants we have established several new web sites, coordinated the Design process and acted as writer and web master.

      CHR has worked on several Multi-media projects:
      • The Record Group 'London Any Way You Turn' 1987
      • BBC Interactive TV's 'The City Disc' with the Corporation of London, Guildhall Library, and the Museum of London. 1990
      • Consultancies for Elmbridge Museum and Croydon Museum

    • The Lost Industries of Southwark
    • A project funded by Unltd to help preserve knowledge of the amazing industrial heritage of Southwark. The area was once one of the most powerful industrial areas in England with brewing, shipbuilding, food processing, leather making, hat making, metal working and engineering.
